Emma Burstein Bat Mizvah

  • Congregation Sinai 1532 Willowbrae Avenue San Jose, CA, 95125 United States (map)

Hello, my name is Emma Burstein.  I am a 7th grader and I have been attending Sinai's religious school since 2016. My favorite subjects in school are Math, Science, PE and all the fun electives we get to take. I enjoy playing volleyball, soccer, flag football, track and field, as well as, acting, singing, playing the piano, hanging out with my friends and traveling.

My parashah is Toldot and I am looking forward to sharing this reading with you.

I’d like to give big thanks to my parents, grandparents, Doug Brook, Rabbi Berkenwald, and all my Hebrew School teachers and classmates. I felt your support during my journey and I am very excited to finally have my Bat Mitzvah!

Heather and Mark Burstein invite you to join their family as they celebrate the Bat Mitzvah of their daughter, Emma, at Congregation Sinai. Kiddush luncheon, hosted by Heather and Mark, will follow the service. Please join Emma and her family for this wonderful simcha. All are encouraged to attend.

Shabbat morning services can be viewed at https://www.sinai-sj.org/live. No account or password is required.

Please note that if you attend in-person, you may appear on-screen. The livestream view will be of the ark, the bima, the podium and the first two rows in the Sanctuary. Anyone whose preference is not to be included in the frame should sit a few rows back and not ascend the bimah.
