pre-measured, kosher, dry ingredients. All you need to do is follow
the provided directions to prepare the easy-to-make recipes].
Wonderful for any occasion [hostess gifts, teacher gifts, holiday gifts or treat
yourself ....... to name a few ideas].
We will send you an email notifying you when the gift
jars will be ready for pickup at the Congregation Sinai Office [we are planning
for the first 2 weeks of December].

Dinner Out - Save The Date!
The next dinner will be on

We'll be going to a vegetarian Indian restaurant. More
information to follow.
Cookbook
- Do you have a favorite dish or family recipe? We'd enjoy
including it in our cookbook. The deadline for recipe submissions
for the cookbook has been extended to December 31, 2011. We are
working hard to put together a wonderful cookbook and we plan to have
the cookbook available by the end of Summer 2012. Any questions,

event at the synagogue. We had a fun time learning about and making dim sum.

Extravaganza
Sisterhood
raisied money to support Sinai's Religious School and Nursery
School programs with a Pre-Chanukah Extravaganza. Local businesses
around the area joined us to help sell their items.
Girls' Dinner Out - Potluck (or not)
International
Flavors Potluck Buffet. Bring a dish for the potluck, or just bring
yourself. Special Discussion: "Where Tradition and Modernity Meet."
Relaxing Girl's Dinner Out
At the Vegetarian House,
520 E. Santa Clara Street in San Jose. Special Guest Speaker: Karen Piemme, Director of Outreach and Education at the San
Jose Repertory Theater, shared her experiences of vegan living.
Enjoy a Relaxing Girl's Dinner Out At the Kitchen Table Restaurant: The special Guest
Speaker was Steven Long, Head Chef.
Membership Chai Tea:
In the Social Hall. Join us for a
relaxing afternoon of tea, light refreshments, and raffle prizes. Free
to all Sisterhood members.
Book Club:
At the home of Joan Abrams. We
will be discussing the book "Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society"
by Mary Shaffer - a novel of Life in Guernsey (a Jersey Island) after
WWII.
